Hi! i’m Olivia -
a freelance chef/entrepeneur/dogmum/wife/auntie/creative/
loyal pal and the founder of trickdough baking co.
Cooking for me has always been my love language.
You can count on me to bring snacks to the party, make you dinner to say I love, drop off treats to say I’m thinking of you, and of course to celebrate.
My husband, Raxx, and I make up our tiny team of two. A true microbakery. Combined we have over 20 years experience in catering, restaurants, events and private cheffing throughout Canada, U.S. and the Caribbean.
Like many in our industry, trickdough baking co. was created out of necessity during the pandemic when we started selling doughnuts to friends over instagram. Quickly word got out, so weekly doughnut drops kept us busy and Haligonians happy.
Halifax became our home in June 2020 after years of visiting and falling for the contagious East Coast Hospitality. We quickly fell for the community-feel of the city, and the under lying theme to shop small and support local businesses.
You can find me walking my dog at PPP while listening to food podcasts, racing through Pete’s shopping for passionfruit, picking up flowers at Local Source, eating croissants from Luke’s, trying on clothes at Slowly Slowly, or sipping wine with my gals at any of my favourite bar seats in the city.
